Hi Carolyn,
Is there a time when we could talk in real time? Like maybe over aim or yahoo? I'm operating on Eastern time, and I have a few days when I'm free in the early afternoon (tomorrow, for one), and I could also get with you in the mid-evening hours-I often work until 7 or 8 and could chat after the last of my tutoring kids leaves. I'm a special ed teacher, and have had some success with helping other kids with assorted special needs get on with their driving written tests. Exactly what I can do would depend on what her needs are and how we can connect on line. at minimum, I should be able to offer some suggestions and ideas for you guys to try on your own.
Hi Carolyn, We live in Sanford,so we're south of you! My 4 yr old twins have sensory issues, they both have proprioception issues, which led them to lead poisoning. We are just really getting into how they'll need to be handled in school, and I'm working with their OT on getting a better understanding of what they actually have and best ways to work with them.Nice to meet you.
Welcome! You've found a great place and we're happy to have you here! If ya ever need anything...don't hesitate to ask! Look forward to getting to know you!
