- Hi Carrie! I was doing respite care and also licensed for foster care when my son died. I had only had 1 child I was doing respite for and had not had the opportunity to foster yet. I am getting a re-cert this Tuesday for my foster license, maybe God will bring a little one to me that needs a loving family. I think perhaps after my son died the county probably didn't contact me to foster for the obvious reasons, in that my family needed time to grive. I am really glad you found this group. It is quiet a lot, but a lot of times we don't need to *chat* about how we feel. We all understand. Sometimes quiet moments make us connect more in the heart. Looking forward to getting to know you!
