Yuch time here

The latest intestinal virus is making its way through our house. It started the evening before Halloween hitting K. Saturday night C was sick, sick, sick, and it lasted all day long. Last night it was my turn, and today my husband comes home from work saying he is not feeling well.

I hate how these travel through families. I lysol constantly and wash linens, clothes, surfaces etc but we all still get it. Maybe I should just chill about trying to have it not spread since it does irregardless of… Continue

"BOO"-ED

We just got booed, my kids think it is a great game. If you don't know anything about it, around halloween, kids leave a short poem and bag of candy anonymously at someones door. They ring the bell then hide or run. The recipient is then suppose to return the favor to two other families.

This year someone added a new twist which I think is great. They have you tape the "boo" sign in your front door or window so that you don't get more than your fair share of "boo's." In this day in age I am gla… Continue

Special needs teens and sanity on the edge

Life is a roller coaster. Have I mentioned that I don't like roller coasters? It's not to say I don't like life, but some of the speed bumps, curves and accelerations put me in to overload. So my non-verbal daughter is rapidly approaching the age of 15.
