Welcome, CeeCee.

What do you know about the benefits of shea butter for eczema in children with food allergies (specifically nuts and peanuts)?

Hey CeeCee! I love your product site! I have a skin condition that makes me allergic to 90% of the chemicals in all cleaning and bathing/skin products. Parabens, Sulfates, Laurates, Silicones, Alcohols, you name it...it damages my skin. I am always on the hunt for truly natural, truly organic and chemical free products. I see I am going to have to check your stuff out. My twitter is cgccoach...going to follow you!

A little about yourself...
Natural bath and body maker -The short version:

My daughter had bleeding eczema when she was barely a year old. After going to the doctor, who recommended Vaseline and Eucerin, I did some online research and discovered shea butter and its benefits. After whipping up some shea and other oils for my daughter's poor legs, the rest fell into place and I ended up creating a whole natural bath and body line.

I love it, it's fun and it gives me something to occupy my time as an at-home mom of three little ones!

Along the way, I've learned so much about these oils and their benefits. While these oils are great for your skin, some of them are even more excellent when used in other ways.

Soothe a dry, itchy scalp: 5 easy expert solutions

By Mary Rose Almasi (This is an article reprint)

Good hair days start with a healthy scalp. Its job, after all, is to grow strong shiny strands. But dry indoor air can zap moisture and dissolve protective oils from the skin on your head, leaving it itchy and flaky--and your mane dull and unmanageable. Help keep the skin you rarely think about (but should) in top condition with this advice from Valerie D. Callender, M.D., clinical assistant professor of dermatology at Howard University College o… Continue
