One of my friends has a basset hound and they shed ALOT. After looking around for different products like you are. He was told by many that you can take them to Petsmart and they have something that they do and will remove all the loose hair. Ever...

I would love to pull this carpet up, but unfortunately I rent and they wont allow it. I am still looking around for products that will make it "easier". Thank you all for the replies and if you hear of any other products or advice, I'll try it out...

I got rid of my Carpets in My Den and went with Pergo, I still have the same amount of hair but now I just use a dust mop, or a sweeper. But I have to say its so much easier than Carpets and less allergies and doggie orders.

Hi nicole, I dont know what meds they put you on, but I know a few of the main prescription corporations have assistance that can help you pay for their meds or give them to you for free. Also you may want to look into your local health department...

Whatever you and your ex decide, just make sure that you put it in writing what you both agree too and if needed get it notarized. That would just protect you if things were to go wrong or something happens or he tries to change it to something yo...

HI. I have a golden retriever and own a Dyson vacume. Love love love it! I cannot believe how much hair that thing picks up. When we first got it, we vacumed with our old vacume, then with the dyson. OMG what a difference. I could not believe how ...

Oh I have heard the Dysons are good but they are expensive. Walmart has an Infinitie Vaccumm that is suppose to be their version of a dyson, I wonder how that would match up?

Aside from daily brushing and a good diet - I'm not familiar with any one product that is great at removing hair off furniture or clothes necessarily. I use tape! LOL I have heard nothing but excellent reports on the Dyson Animal vacuum. It's expe...

What is mood disorder? Curious because my oldest son has always been very um quick to change moods. For no reason he can turn angry and until recently had difficulty self calming. He has been tested for a number of afflictions and is fine. I thought his diet could be it, but looking for other ways to help.

Great to have you here! We've got an incredible group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so kick back and make yourself at home. Check out the Twittermoms groups (we have something for everybody). The Twittermoms discussions are quite entertaining, too. Or, just get to know your fellow Twittermoms by browsing some Twittermoms profiles or searching for moms who share your interests, add friends, and start twittering with some incredibly smart and interesting moms.

PS: Let your friends know when you're on twittermoms with a click of the Announce Yourself link in your welcome box. If your Twitter friends are interested, they can check out the cool new place you've found!

Again -- if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

Welcome to twittermoms and also the single moms group. I do know how it feels to be alone and raising special needs kids. I have a son who is 9 who has cerebral palsy and there are lots of times when I feel isolated. I have to force myself to get out there online and offline. If you need to just say Hi to someone leave me a comment over on my page or even email me.

Again welcome aboard.
