For survivors of domestic violence & those interested in learning the truth. Domestic violence has such an impact on families... including, in 90% of the cases which end up in family court for divorce, a loss of children for mothers.

DPopTart - I did wonder.... glad you cleared that up : )

Preparing for helping your daughter is a good idea. I wouldn't, however, show her picture on here - or give her name. This is a very public forum. It would not be safe for her.

A little about yourself...
Former single mom, mother of a special needs child, & now a step-mom & a 'long-distance mom' too ~ I am a mom-of-all-trades. I write about that, when I can, at Motherhood Metamorphosis.

I've been writing on the Internet for 9 years, I think it is now...

Currently I can be found:

Writing about kitsch at Kitsch-Slapped and Kitschy Kitschy Coo (with my husband, Derek aka Azrael Brown).

I am a staff writer at Collectors' Quest; my columns are here, and I am poptart in the Collectors' Quest community.

And I share more vintage goodness at Things Your Grandmother Knew too.

I also write about sex, politics & other mature topics at Sex-Kitten.Net. (If you want a direct link to my columns there, message me and I'll send you a link; I don't want to offend anyone here with a NWS link -- the other link is to the warning page.)

There's plenty more; but this ought to keep you busy for now *wink*

myself, my blogs, collecting, collectibles, vintage, retro, kitsch, history, ephemera, altered art, politics

Help Educate VH1 About The Realities Of Rape!

A friend of mine wrote this reaction to VH1's Tough Love show which aired tonight -- I completely agree and urge you to read what Alessia has to say and then contact VH1 to demand an apology.

Hope you are enjoying your time at Twittermoms. Thanks for joining Twittermoms Marketplace for ebiz owners and moms. I am looking forward to hearing more
