Hi, I just wanted to drop by and let you know that I started a Central Florida Mama group. I thought it would be a great way to have one place to meet your neighbors and discuss what is going on around the town, besides just the Mouse (unless you want to talk about that). Anyways, it is just starting but if you would like to check it out, please go to: Central Florida Mamas!
Hi Dena, I just noticed that you're in Orlando. I wanted to let you know about a craft show I'm organizing and promoting in St. Pete, the Handmade Holiday Bazaar. We have a few vendor spots left. If you're interested you can get more info on our blog www.handmadeholidaybazaar.blogspot.com . Even if you don't want to sell your handiwork, it'd be nice to meet you if you can make the drive :)
Lucas is 2 1/2 weighs 24 lbs, and is not on the weight chart anymore. He grew 2 1/2 inches in 6 months and gained a 1/2 pound. We don't make special meals for him, but I try to put at least one thing on his plate that he likes. We also eat together every night so he sees my husband and I eating stuff, he now likes brocolli b/c we eat it all the time and he wanted what we had.
Hi Dena,
I had a chance to look at your website and blog, what a cutie your son! My son, is really little, so we are always trying to get him to eat more, so him making the food and he loves helping really works. Recipe of the week-chicken pancakes. He loves pancakes so i saw this cooking show with kids and they made regular pancakes added shredded cooked chicken, peas, and shredded carrots, and then cook them like regular pancakes (add a little milk to thin out) and dip in syrup. Lucas, my son, was so excited to have pancakes for dinner, he ate them all!!
I'm a part-time work at home mom of one who runs a small web embroidery business out of my home. I created Written In Thread about 4 years ago. Written In Thread sells personalized items for babies/children, weddings, and the home. I was running it in addition to working full-time. Once my son was born 2 years ago I was able to stay home and devote my time to growing Written In Thread a little more.
I enjoy being a mom, working out, decorating, scrapbooking, sewing, and most recently learning more about photography.
