Friend at work just found these at Trader Joes: "FIBERFUL handmade dried fruit bar"
These are chewy and filled with 6 grams of fiber. I tired the apricot one and it was very good. My friend said they are about $0.59 at TJ's!
My daughter goes to a steiner school - she isn't big on sandwiches either - The school promotes healthy foods with minimal packaging. Her school is not a nut-free zone as you can see with the almonds.
She doesn't actually eat that much at school,...
Just to add to the other great ideas, instead of a sandwich, give him roll ups! Roll up slices of meats and cheese separately, you can place them in a small flat container and he'll think its cool:).

- Hey, Denise! My oldest went to Montessori school. It's hard when the oldest leaves for kindergarten. It's much easier when the younger one goes to kindergarten bc you aren't a new hat at it. Think of all the wonderful one on one time you'll have with Katie. It's her turn. Try not to worry! Easier said than done.
