I hope all is well with you. Homeschooling makes me smile too. Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions earlier in the year. I joined a homeschooling group on the south side.

I just wanted to stop by and say hello to a fellow Hoosier. I am actually new to the area. I am interested in homeschooling my children in the New Year. I am starting to do some research on homeschooling in Indiana. I (we) recently moved from Florida. I am also thinking about joining the homeschooling group. I would appreciate any suggestions and/or advise.

Hi Diane,
Thanks for adding me as a friend. We are doing a Classical curriculum too. Luckily I have help with a 2 day a week school program. I don't think I would be able to do it alone at this stage with only one in school right now. I LOVE it because I am learning so much with my 2nd grader. Which is wonderful and a little scary at the same time. I am off to follow you on twitter!

A little about yourself...
Married to my best friend, David, for 29 years, I homeschool our teens (dd and ds), coach an NCFCA (http://ncfca.org) speech and debate club called REJO!CE, write regular articles for my blog, "The Classical Scholar," and have just published my very first book about authentic classical education (it's not what you think it is!) called "Trivium Mastery: The Intersection of Three Roads." I also have an adorable sheltie named Pooh Bear and a tabby cat named Tigger. Blessed!
