Sometimes I get very disillusioned with people. It’s hard, at times, to continue to believe in people. It seems that so many are so caught up in survival mode or in protecting themselves, that they just don’t do what is right any more.

I’ve always been a huge fan of promoting simpler living. Lives today are just too fast paced and busy. This causes a lot of undo stress on families. I think it is so important and valuable to slow things down and take the time to rest and soak in life. I believe this and I’ve felt this when I’ve experienced it myself. The energy and renewal that slowing down has given me has been so important.

There are some people out there who just don’t “get” the world of blogging. And that’s okay. I don’t “get” the world of auto mechanics but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its own place of importance.

I have a volunteer position open for my newsletter which goes out to about 1600 moms each month. I need someone to write a paragraph or two on a Bible verse each month. I had someone who was interested in this but then didn't keep their commitment so now the position is available again.

I also need someone who would write on self esteem issues or becoming a woman of God for the website. This column would only be needed every other month or so.
