My Daughter...A True Role Model

While most people dread Monday's, I look forward to them. By and large it's my most productive day of the week. Since I don't pack my weekend calendar full of stuff, I'm well rested and ready to go when the work week starts.

My daughter was recently chosen for a modeling training program. I'm so proud of her! She started training this past weekend and won "Runway Diva" on her second day of class. I can already see a change in her confidence level. She's a very loving child and doesn't ask for m… Continue

“No” is not a Four-Letter Word

Why does the word we heard so often as kids and the word we so often use now with our own children seem like a foreign language or even profanity when communicating with adults – particularly those we love and admire most? It doesn’t matter how polite you are or how much sincerity you convey when saying it, most people are truly offended by the word. You guessed it – I’m talking about the word “no”.

If you think your life is out of control and you don’t have enough hours in the day to do all th… Continue

Mmm, LOVE your mission!

To empower women to love themselves, define their passion, and serve others.

Learning to love (including and especially oneself) and getting CLEAR on one's purpose and finding how to best serve in each situation...don't get much better!

Look forward to getting to know you, Donna.

Blessings...

WELCOME TO TWITTERMOMS!

By the way, do you draw, paint, take photos, etc? How about the kids? Looking for original art for Art Cards for Soldiers!

Soldiers serving abroad have many needs, but one of the ones that comes at the top of their wish list, are cards to send home to their loved ones. Most soldiers are serving in remote locations with little available in the way of luxuries or basics like writing materials. This gives the soldiers a way to celebrate the occasions they’re missing.

Rather than shop the isles at Hallmark, we have called in the favors of artist friends and are providing beautiful, original art cards made especially for them, to theses brave and wonderful men and women as our way of saying
thanks.

We’ll send these to any active service member through eMail our Military, and soon you’ll be able to purchase a set to have sent by MOM to a deserving soldier or you can purchase them for your own use! We’re so excited to be providing these beautiful art cards to people who deserve only the best for sacrificing so much - time away from the ones they love.

How can you help? We need your original art scanned and sent to us or one card that we can scan. All the details are on the site (see below) or email if you have questions.

Special thanks to the artists for sharing their amazing talents and eMail our Military for supporting this effort.

Visit the ART CARDS FOR SOLDIERS site to see the artwork already donated and for details and PLEASE PASS THIS ON! It would make a great kid project - Scouts, Church, etc.
