Very much looking forward to your blog and to getting to know you...sounds like you have a ton of experience doing what I'm doing right now-educational 'consulting' (i.e. tutoring) with a wide range of clients. My newest (starting next week) is a first grader who is failing and has already been held back a year to repeat kindergarten. Oh I talk to him all the time by reading to him or even when I am cooking or cleaning. We walk everyday and I ask him which way and things. He talks a little as well. I also talk to him when we are out shopping. I have done this sense he was a baby. Everone looks at me like I am crazy. Oh well do I care? No I do not. After losing my 16 year old to a guy not paying attention I am not letting anything stopping him and
I from being close as well as best friends. We even take him to the mall to play evey Sunday. This week we went to the Stock Show and the Duck pond. Boy did we have fun. Now he says Duck. Today was a hard day as his puppy died.
