I'm a middle-class white mother whose kids went to one of the most diverse high schools in the country. I was so impressed with the academic and social enrichment of the school that I became a national advocate for diverse schools -- as an author and speaker

Just came back from an amazing second visit to the township of Nomathamsanqa in South Africa.
