A little about yourself...

I'm a mom of two and 20-year veteran journalist who is now pursuing a Ph.D. in communications at Syracuse University.

What kinds of things do you typically Twitter about?

parenting, children, politics, families, social networking, news

What are your areas of interest?

mommyhood, blogging, social media

I have three blogs. There's my public side on my Family Life blog and my unplugged side on my bitchymommyblog. That's where I let my hair down, rant and rave and am more pointed about what I believe. I also blog about new media and journalism at Savethemedia.com.

On Bitchymommy, I blog about family, marriage, parenting, politics and just about anything that comes into my head. I also blog about my passions: cooking, running, scrapbooking and social media.

My Family Life blog is my softer side, where I offer recall notices, events for parents, news -- all wrapped in with a tiny bit of opinion.
