There is a moment in the day when I want to have "Mom Time": I want to check my e-mails, go to the gym, attend the garden, make a phone call, spa with friends or watch the news. This is Mom Time! So I explained to my kids that when they play with their toys or with their friends, I give give them the space to do so, and that me too sosometime, I need an hour or 2 daily for myself. Don't kid yourself, it does not work all the time, but it's a good concept, and my kids are starting to get it :-)
