Hi Heather...Thanks for becomming my freindIt's been a blast, so far, to be midwife to my youngest daughter's novel. Such a kick
to have her choosing 'how to's off my bookshelf and applying them to her story. I am
impressed. And feel honored that she wants me reading each day's output. No editing
at this point. We just read over it and, at most, discuss it. It can be really fun. When
she's stuck I ask questions to help her find her way. I don't give her answers. Um...I take
that back. Twice, in the middle of the day, while doing something totally unrelated, I've
suddenly burst out with something important for the story. And told her. Didn't suggest it.
Cuz I KNEW!!! And she's looked and me and KNEW I was right. Fun, yes?
We both know it may get rocky when she's ready to start her serious editing/re-writes...
Have you used Dr. Wicked's online Write or Die application? What genre is your published
novel?
Sweet dreams!
Not weird at all, girl! Well, not according to Stephen King anyway, ha! Read his On Writing yet? How long have you been working on your psych-thriller?
Blessings!
