I'll Write the Great American Novel....Right After I Find My Keys

As a counselor and coach, I work exclusively with creative people. Now, my definition of “creative” is broad-it doesn’t just mean that people are necessarily working artists or writers; rather it means that I work with people who live off the beaten path, who see things differently from most, and (whether they’re acting on them on not) have lots of great ideas and creative instincts.

Do you have a Twitter account? What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and becoming a mom for the first time. I have been trying to find more people to follow me so that I can spread awareness:

Hi Heather - I can't make your twitter link work, I'm afraid.

I've written a lighthearted froth-type novel (recommended by Jill Mansell) and I'm in the process of writing the supporting text for an illustrated book of Border Collie philosophy as it relates to career choice.

I write short stories for commercial women's magazines and I'm a medical writer for pharmaceutical companies and I also summarize recent medical research papers for Framingham.

What do you write?

I haven't really got to grips with Twittermoms yet so I don't know what I'm doing and am not sure whether this message is going to go public or not...

That would be great! My blog is mostly an advice column where women (and guys too!) can write in with their questions. But it's much more than that... It will also feature my advice on products, movies and more. So basically it's an advice column about whatever you could possibly think of.

You should read a few of the answered questions so far and get a feel for it. :)
