Hello, Thanks for your encouraging words.. Life has to throw you sometimes, and it is hard to believe but that only makes us stronger and teaches us to be grateful and thankful for what you have. I have learned to never take things for granted especially our precious babies...
You Take Care,
Natasha..

Thanks again! :)

Heatherann, I hope all is well. I strongly advise you to keep your site open. I know there is not much activity on it lately b/c I check all the time but it was there for me when I needed to talk as well as many others. Life gets busy as you know and days go by sometimes to even turn on the computer but even if its there for one person in need than its done its job. Just something to think about, if you want to talk more about it I'll be here. Much love to you & yours! Stacy

Thank you for the warm welcome! I can tell this is going to be good....and I hope and pray that you and your family will be able to open your lives and hearts to a new foster baby when the time is right. I've discovered it is such a blessing for US, not just the babes who need us.

A little about yourself...
I am a stay at home mama to 2 little girls, Sierra age 8 and Ellie Jo age 9 months. I have a angel in heaven, Jacob, who went into the loving arms of Jesus on July 16, 2007 at 2 years and 7 months old. I miss him beyond words:(. I am married to my wonderful hubby Joe who is a self-employed farmer and logger. I LOVE my country life! I love gardening, canning, cooking, baking, shopping, cleaning, and spending time with my girls and husband. I love my new house that we just had built. My husband, kids, and I have been in it for just about 2 months now. I have a wonderful blessed life and thank God for all that He has given me. Visit my myspace page at myspace.com/h_ann_perry.

To Jacob

Sweet little boy with airplane wings,
You flew up to heaven where the angels sing.
Far up in the sky where your “cookie” shines bright,
We feel you there in the moons soft glowing light.

You are grinning in heaven riding a special John Deere tractor,
But oh to hold you again, to hear your beautiful laughter.
We long to see you, to touch you, to love you once more,
To give nose tickles, kisses, and squeezes galore.

Airplanes, “kunk-kunks”, and “Gone Deere” tractors,
These were some of your favorite things.
A toy was never good enough,
You always wanted to have the real thing.

You must have watched the movie Cars at least 100 times,
Your “gankies” never far from your sight.
You had such a tender loving heart,
Such a love for life.

Jacob, we did not know the angels
Would call your name that day.
We would have held you longer in our arms,
Instead of all that play.

There is nothing you could have done different,
In this life you were loved so much.
It is so painful to be apart from you,
Our hearts you forever touched.

We know you had to leave us,
So gone away you flew,
And know that every day for the rest of our lives,
We will be missing you.

We cuddle with your “gankie” every night,
Longing to be close to you again.
Knowing that one sweet day you will take our hand,
And lead us to Heaven’s land.

We miss you Jakey.

Coop

Hey, my brother-in-laws new book Coop is now out and can be purchased at his website, www.sneezingcow.com. The book was dedicated to "the tiny pilot" aka Jake, and there is a section in there about his death.

hi

Life keeps us busy doesn't it? I wish I could chat with you all all the time you all are great friends. I am not sure how to get the most from twittermoms, am I doing it right? If I could spend more time at the computer that would help. Oh well. Just got back from a mini-vacation to a hotel/indoor waterpark. It was fun. Brought back sad, well happy, memories of Jake, which in turn made me sad. Right before he died we went to the Kalahari waterpark in the Dells. We had so much fun. Life was ok th… Continue

Brother-in-law's new book coming out.

My brother-in-law (Michael Perry) has a new book about to be released here in April. I know that there will be some written on my son and his death. Though I am grateful that the memory of Jacob will be forever remembered and that his short life will be shared with many, I am scared to read it. I tear up just thinking about it. it is called Coop. A good ff and emergency responding documentary to watch.

As long as I am on the subject of our local fire department, Mike and us (the New Auburn FD) were featured on the documentary Into the Fire. It aired on the history channel a couple years back. It was a moving documentary on the job of firefighting and emergency responding. If you get the chance I highly recommend watching it. I am even in it for about 2 seconds:).

just a thought

I have a brother-in-law, Micheal Perry. He is an author, you can visit his website www.sneezingcow.com. He wrote a book called Population 485 Meeting Your Neighbors One Siren at a Time. My family is featured quite a lot in this book as myself, my husband, brother-in-laws, and mother-in-law are/were firefighters, EMTs, and first responders. This book was written just before my husband and I met. The last chapter of the book is simply entitled Sarah. Sarah was my husbands first wife who was killed… Continue
