Give Jackie Lee a Gift

Hi, I'm Jackie Lee ~ I live in the middle of no where Kansas and love the peace and quiet it brings me.

I have one daughter ~ Hanna ~ she's 3. She's full of spit and vinegar and though she tests my patience many days I wouldn't have it any other way.

My husband and I have been married since 2003 and still finding ways to be better friends each day. He owns his own construction business so we are a very entrepreneurial family ~ which has it's pros and cons. (but mostly pros)

I'm a blogger, and a writer and so happy that I am blessed to be able to stay home to work and raise my daughter. I do find it somewhat isolating at times ~ to live in a very rural area with only a 3 year old to talk to. Those are the times I come to Twittermoms, Twitter and frequent my favorite mom blogs to get a little fix of community. It is amazing to me how people can be so far away from one another and yet feel so close. It is but one of the many things I'm grateful for in my life.

I'm always open to meeting new people and hope to meet you ~ feel free to add me as a friend, shoot me a message to say hi or give me a tweet (that's probably the most reliable form of communication these days :)) I'm working on creating more balance in my life which means I'm trying not to be on the computer ALL day. ;) some days that works out better than others.

Have a magical day ~

What Makes Your Work at Home Days Run Smoothly?

I was recently asked "how do you do it" working full time from home and raising a 3 year old?

I dunno lol ~ I just do. I started thinking about the things I do that keep my days running smoothly and was wondering what all YOU do to keep your days running smoothly as a work at home mom?

I think the biggest lesson I've learned recently was not to start working as soon as I wake up (which I did for a LONG time lol). Now I hang out with Hanna for a couple hours in the morning and don't start work… Continue

Is Your Twitter Strategy Earning You $1 Per Follwer Every Month?

As an internet marketer I'm only beginning to realize the enormity of the possibilities that twitter gives me to add to the bottom line of my business.

I've figured out a lot of stuff, but there were pieces I just wasn't getting. I watch other people I admire, you know the people you "secretly wish" you could be more like in social media and I figured out some of the things they are doing and implemented them in my social media strategy, but still my results were only mediocre so far.

Trying to Use Squidoo to Make Money? I Can Help!

I have been using squidoo for a few years now. I am a giant squid over there with over 100 lenses (at this time). I love squidoo and think it is a great way for people to get started in internet marketing, as well as a great way to drive traffic to your own sites if you have them.

If you've ever wanted to learn how to squidoo you're in luck.

I am currently offering a free 7 day e course on How To Squidoo.

Can You Really Feed a Family Dinner on $5 a Day?

My husband's construction business has hit a really slow period. While my business is doing quite well I'm finding I'm responsible for just about all the household expenditures now. yikes!

We have cut back in a lot of ways but I still find we're eating like we both still had high paying full time jobs. :(

I've heard you can feed a family of 4 on 5 dollars a day, but I just don't see how.

I'd love some tips from all you fabulous frugal moms to let me know some ways I can start saving money on… Continue

Hey Girl how are you? I have created a website that has made my children smile as well as others, & I want to share it with you. WWW.DEAR-SANTACLAUS.NET sends children personalized letters from Santa Claus. I remember when I was a little girl and I received a letter from Santa it was a memory I still hold dear to my heart. I started sending my own children letters, then my nieces & nephews. They all loved it. the excitement and energy was beautiful. It's already setting the tone for the holiday season. I encourage all you mothers to visit my website you wont be disappointed and your children will absolutely love it! Also Visit MAKESOMEONEHAPPY.ORG & order an "Letter of Encouragement". Same Concept just now letters are sent to: Troops overseas, mom, dad, any and everyone.

I agree! And would like to make my own. I like to go for 'simple' whenever possible :)

Just had a week of amazingly good and super good-for-you meals with my 'babies' at our family cabin gathering at Donner Lake...ahh...

So grateful they are choosing such healthy ways of eating (see the Nourishing Moms group here).

Blessings!

One way to stretch the food budget, while actually increasing nutrition (and flavor!) is 24 hr bone broth. I invite you to check out www.SoupMagic.com and view the (6) 5 min videos on the 'got issues' tab.

Blessings!

Thanks for sharing the photo. have posted a comment on your blog too. Where do you live>? Are you right out in the country. I so envy the wildlife that seems to be all around you. I live in surburbia but must be a country girl at heart... would love to meet deer and badgers on my way home. We have urban foxes ok!

Hiya Jackie... Owls in your attic. How magical is that! I am always saying to my girls and my other half that I want an Owl of my own!! But they are few and far between here in Ireland and are (I think) protected species... and very shy by all accounts. But if you tire of yours, pack em up and I promise I will take the best care of them.... Ha ha

Wow -- I know doing the crisis work is very demanding. (and can burn you out) ---Good for you in following your dreams.

Great to hear you are enjoying SendOutCards and see the benefits. If you come across anyone in your line of work that you think would benefit from SOC too --- I would love for you to refer them to me (I will take excellent care of them). They can start out by trying out the website / creating their free card at www.SendOutCards.com/GetMyCardFree
Be sure to let them know to tell me that you referred them.

Great connecting Jackie!

My best,

Tracy
