A little about yourself...

I began my career in Public Relations over 6 years ago at high-tech boutique agency in San Diego in the height of the dot bomb era. With hands-on experience at two long-standing San Diego agencies specializing in high tech and life science respectively as well as a stint at Qualcomm, I have learned that no matter the vertical, clients crave results.

I am currently starting a social media public relations company (temporarily called) SocialMediaPR. (I am open to new name suggestions.) With the rise of social media, results are achieved in conjunction with daily changing tactics that require unique solutions. I aim both educate PR professionals and businesses about how social media impacts PR, and assist PR professionals/businesses in embracing this change

When I’m not blogging about Social Media and it’s impact on public relations or working on my start-up, you can find me hanging out on Twitter (@jenmitch), Facebook, 12seconds, etc., or with my 3 year old daughter.
