- A little about yourself...
- I'm a working mom of two kids very busy kids. I teach middle school art when I'm not on mom or wife duty. My kids are 4 and 1.5. My son (the 1.5 year old) has Wolfe Parkinson White syndrome and I spend a lot of time shuttling him around to Cardiology appointments and managing his health care. I also dabble in jewelry on the side - I used to create a lot more but since my son was born I've taken a break to focus on him.
I love to read. Some of my current favorites are the Twilight series, Harry Potter, the Uglies Series, and anything by Jodi Picoult. As you can probably tell my reading material is influenced by my students.
I also love to draw. I spend a lot of time doodling and sketching. Every once in a while I'll finish a completed drawing or painting. I'm most in love with the learning process of figuring out a new material or a new technique.
