- A little about yourself...
- I'm a freelance writer, new online entrepreneur, and mom to a tween-aged son. My articles focus on a variety of topics, such as families, parenting, local events, ending domestic violence, social media marketing, Squidoo, online business, and writer resources. For over 3 years, I've written book reviews for MyShelf.com. I enjoy social media, like Squidoo and Facebook.
My husband is a hypnotist / coach, who helps people stop smoking, lose weight, and reduce anxiety, to name a few. We're combining our experience and passion in helping others. Isn't it wonderful to love what you do? It's even better to share that passion with others.
We've been married five years (a second marriage for us both). We're family-focused and love being involved in our son's life. I've enjoyed volunteering at his elementary school and being a cub scout leader. Our son just started middle school, so we're dealing with the transition of making new friends, learning school rules, knowing teachers' expectations, and such.

Necco Wafers and Thanksgiving

Mother's Day
It seems fitting that my first blog for Twittermoms is about Mother's Day. I've been busy writing, and lately it's been about Mother's Day. It's a day of both remembrance and celebration for me. My husband and son usually make a fuss over me (I'm not complaining. It's nice to be Queen for the day.) The other part of the day is remembrance of my mom who died 13 years ago.
