A little about yourself...
I'm a thirty-something mother of two trying desperately to hold-it-all-together while juggling work, life and the perils of raising boys.

After surviving a 10-year stint in the music industry (Nashville, Tenn.) I am now living in the Washington DC Metro area with my family. In addition to blogging about nothing in particular, I also manage to work as an independent contractor in emerging media, event planning, writing and public relations as well as serving as a volunteer on various committees in the community.

My Son Brought A Rat Into Church The Other Day

My son almost dropped a rat into the communion wafers the other day.

I wish I were kidding.

Somewhere between me dropping him off for Sunday school and our attending Mass, my son was given a small fake rat by one of his friends.

That’s right. A RAT.

How to tell if you've succumbed to MOM FRUMP (!)

I just got back from a weekend holiday at the beach.

I learned something about myself there. I learned that I am… FRUMPY.

One Mom's Bubble Bath Revolution

So I’ve been stuck in a bit of a rut lately. I’m HATING the weather. Feeling moody and a bit uninspired. I’ve been spending way to much time in my house as well... cleaning. Ugh.
