Looking forward to turning 40. Things sure are better at 38 than at 30 so 40's should be great

take it it's a site dedicated to mums either in the navy or whose husband's are? Please come and say hello when you get two minutes.

With kids in the Navy... but we have many Navy Wives, girlfriends, etc. :)

Me and my hubby run an online interview radio station for new parents called www.mybabyradio.com and I also blog their too.

Very cool :) I shall check it out. CC

Hi there Joann, I am not good at reading two books at a time. If only because I read too fast and I get so engrossed in the story that I can't bear to start another book until I finish. I like to read fantasy books, chick lit and history books. I really like the fantasy because I get carried away in the story. The Janet Evanovich books I just read are so funny, I laughed out loud many times throughout. What kind of books are The Book Thief and The Time Travelers Wife?

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I would rather stay up all night with a good book than go out. *sigh* It's so hard to find good books that aren't like everything else.

Welcome to twittermoms! The rumors are true -- I started this place. We've got an AWESOME group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so make yourself at home. If you haven't already, check out the groups you find interesting, check out the discussions, view profiles of other moms, add friends, and start twittering with some great new people.

Have fun!

Read books for stress

I have been in absolute floods of tears this morning - practically inconsolable! I have very nearly finished the book I’m reading - A Thousand Splendid Suns.

I’ve been riveted - it’s really fast paced and I could hardly put it down. It’s based in Afghanistan and it centres around two women and their independent struggles. I don’t want to say too much but it was an interesting look at the way women have been treated in Afghanistan.

I can’t believe how sad the last few chapters are - I wa… Continue

PR advice from a GURU

Hi Gang

I read the bit about the PR site and thought you may be interested in a recent inteview I did with a PR expert here in the UK. The transcript from the interview is listed below.
