- I left the business world in 2003 to become a wife and mother. I have done many jobs- customer service, hair stylist, esthetician, entertainer, office manager, insurance agent and securities broker. Now I'm "Mom" and major is boo-boo kissing, dinner making and saving money. I author Have Kid Will Travel, a website about travel with kids and two blogs, Iowa Geek and Fab Food Friday as well as contributing to IowaMoms.net.
