- A little about yourself...
- Principal of the Media Collective a full service web media company. I do seo, sem & social media and marketing.Through clients (mostly women owned biz) I get to learn a lot of interesting things as each has fab. stories and experiences.
Life, I am a mom who 20yrs ago decided to become self employed to be able to grow with my daughter, to show her moms can be moms but that does not mean that they can't be themselves either and can succeed in business too. Now she's a 2nd yr college student and flying well on her own wings.
For fun I love to dance, cook, build things, travel and play with my friends and try to learn something new & have a great laugh every day.

Is Dancing a Metaphore for Social Media or just Me?
I love to dance, for fun exercise and for me is pure joy.
But when I think about it, it is a metaphor for social media, marketing and the things that I do during the day. Why,
Class teacher sent out the video to us today and sha zamm wow an ahaa moment for me for sure.
Now that I look at this, the dance forms I choose to do, are socially based. It involves multiple people, sharing, participation, listening and interpertation.
The below link is a video of the class I take called Casino Rueda, It is a Cuban Social Dance that you dance in a circle as a group. The group has a caller, and this caller names a pattern kinda like "square dancing' then collectively we dance the pattern.
I'm actually in it tee hee.

But when I think about it, it is a metaphor for social media, marketing and the things that I do during the day. Why,

I am a San Diego based writer of family travel guidebooks. (My first one is a guide to Legoland) I also run an environmental health and safety e-learning and consulting company with my husband.
Neither venture is successful yet, but I am working hard in order to acheive the goal in paragraph 1.
