There are so many chemicals in the products we use everyday. It is so scary. Something I have found that works is the Renew lotion by Melaleuca. It is all natural compared to steriod creams and helps with skin reactions to different products.

Birthday and Anniversary
Yesterday was my Birthday. I played hooky from work, spent the day with my Husband and kids. Friends came over and we grilled out and had a great time.
I celebrated the 19th anniversary of my 29th birthday!!! (that makes me 48).
Speaking of Anniversaries, it was also our wedding anniversary. Why, do you ask is it the same day. This is a typical male thing. When I asked him what day he wanted to get married, he suggested a birthday or holiday so he wouldn't forget!!! I told him that is what I a… Continue

Going to Meet Darius Rucker tonight
Darius is performing at Crew Stadium tonight as part of the State Fair Concert series. My Husband with Buster arranged a Meet and Greet prior to the concert. Should be fun! I'll post pics later.

Back to School Clothes
Ouch! Started shopping for clothes for the kids. Didn't get the best deals, but still not too bad for 2 kids.
That is just the beginning, next it will be the supplies, school fees, pictures, then in Sept. I am almost sure, it will be a fund raiser!

Back on the Wagon
Started exercising again.
It's going well. I've not been real busy at work, so I'm finding the time to go to the gym. Just need to stick with it and not let work stop me from doing what is good for me.
It's hard sometimes cause I don't have a workout buddy. It's just me and my own will and determination. I've got to be my own cheerleader and talk my ass down there, especially when I'm tired and it's just easier to say "not today".
Been there 3 times so far this week. I work from home on Frida… Continue

- Karen, currently I work at home as a wellness consultant. For many years I was with AT&T and then when my husband relocated to San Diego I went to work at a local hospital, when I was little my mom always said I should be a nurse, but after 4 1/2 years of seeing what they did, I decided against it. My neighbor introduced me to the company I am currently with. Here is their website www.melaleuca.com I am happy working at home now and get to see my granddaughter everyday! They grow up too quickly!
