I also had LASIK, in 2001, and was actually slightly over corrected in one eye. The thing I noticed was that when I went to shave my underarms, I couldn't see that close clearly and I could before the LASIK! What?? Anyway, I got by without reading...

Just this year, it is impossible for me to read, which I love doing, without them. I can still use the computer without them, I work on the pc all day, but when I try to sew or make jewelry as well, I have to have my glasses. So sad.
