I like to wear my dresses a few inches above the knee with stockings and high boots. I'm 44 and 4'11". I also like dresses that hit mid calf. I say wear whatever you feel comfortable in. :)
Skorts is a good idea.
I feel any skirt length is good if it's right for what your doing. If you have the legs flaunt them as long as you can, but stay away from my husband! LOL
I say, if you've got the legs, just go for it! But I do agree with Barbara about the bending over part. ;)
I have a couple skirts i wore all summer and they are just below the knee and it bothered me because they seemed so long. Not that I want to wear a mini, but I think above the knee is fine too. Micor minis are a no no and I dont think even the you...
