It's never a mistake to ask a direct question of your teen! Too many parents tiptoe around their teens because they hate dealing with the anger and hostility they sometimes get, but silence comes at the price of peace!

I'm the mom soccer moms love to hate
I support my kids in their sporting endeavors by getting them to practice and coming for the games. But I don't stay for practice and won't rearrange the family schedule so my 12-year-old can play 25 basketball games between November and February. Is that unreasonable?
