Definitely! You have to continually - on a daily basis - keep your teen engaged. Don't just ask the hard questions, keep communication open by asking and staying informed about their lives in general. Yes with hard questions, you might get the 'at...

It's never a mistake to ask a direct question of your teen! Too many parents tiptoe around their teens because they hate dealing with the anger and hostility they sometimes get, but silence comes at the price of peace!

Get thee some Purell

I'm worried about H1N1, but I'm more worried that fear will cause us to stop our lives AND teach our kids to be afraid.

I'm the mom soccer moms love to hate

I support my kids in their sporting endeavors by getting them to practice and coming for the games. But I don't stay for practice and won't rearrange the family schedule so my 12-year-old can play 25 basketball games between November and February. Is that unreasonable?

Kate,
Ever wonder if the Palins are part of the Alaskan Nudest Camp? Then they would not need clothes - less to wash.
Ok, just a thought after reading your blog post.

Wow! Thanks so much for joining Twittermoms. Another Mom2MOM member - so glad you are here!

We've got an AWESOME group of women connecting on all sorts of topics. Getting involved is easy! Check out the groups, jump into a discussion on fun topics, browse profiles of moms you might be interested in connecting with on Twitter. I'm really impressed with the quality of the discourse here. I think you'll love it. If you ever need anything, please let me know -- I'm here to help! Can you believe we were at 4 members on Sept. 2? Yikes!

Start browsing profiles to add some friends! or use the search feature for keywords in your profile (fashion, crafting, etc.).

P.S. I also added a one-click button you can use (upper right) to let your friends know you're on Twittermoms with a quick tweet.
