We live in a busy world. Everyone has too little time, too many chores, and not enough patience to put up with all of the salespeople who approach them.
To have a successful business, you need to become important to your customers. How do you do that? By showing them that they are important to you.
Whenever I speak to a client by telephone, I have a notepad handy and jot down personal details that they reveal. If I meet them face-to-face, as soon as the meeting is over I get out my notepad and…

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and becoming a mom for the first time. I have been trying to find more people to follow me so that I can spread awareness:

Are you a practicing nutritionist? One of my daughters, as well as my beloved stepmom, is a holistic nutritionist. If I had to recommend only one thing, it would be to make 24 hr bone broth the backbone of the kitchen (like it used to be in days of old). I put info on that in the Nourishing Moms group discussions.
The S. Korean group doing the documentary are globe trotting, after spending time with the Dervae family today (www.PathToFreedom.com) they head for San Fran. Next they hit Europe and I don't recall where else before heading home to put it all together. The plan to is air it there in S. Korea to promote raw milk.
I wasn't attracted to the candle business. Love candles but would never have dreamed of marketing them! As usual, it was relationshipping that drew me in. Had been exposed to a successful businesswoman, on and offline, and checked her out, thought she might be someone I'd like to work with. After 30 min on the phone I was sold on her and then stunned, to put it mildly, to learn that she was with a candle company! I partnered with her and now count her as a dear friend, as well.
A current focus is - helping my youngest (16) seriously build her customer base among medical staff. A marvelous opportunity for her in so many ways.
I look forward to knowing you better, Katie, and like I said, to learning how we might benefit each other.
So glad you are delighting in motherhood. Nothing like it! It's absolutely awes me to be in the midst of my grown children when we gather (like we will at a Lake Tahoe cabin again this summer, and to know my body actually once housed those gods and goddesses. Can you imagine how marvelous it is to have them be so crazy about each other??? I am grateful.
How do you go about helping people make better wellbeing choices?
The best thing that happened to me today was my morning Sacred Solitude time. How about for you? I invite you, should you be so inclined, to visit my blog about why I value that 'best question' so highly in my life - www.myspace.com/annduncan Oh, and if you go there, be sure to look up some of the sweetie pie rescue pics :)
Blessings!

source? I'm in California's San Juaquin Valley.
Current project? On a personal level, rescuing a mama cat and her 3 babies. She's a long-time stray we are trying to trap. We rescued her last set of kittens and found good homes for them. Plan to do the same for these, and hoping to make sure it is her last. She's never let us get this near her, very encouraging that she actually called her babies over to eat the raw food we put out, with us in sight. My youngest daughter, Tirzah, is outside with them now, just sitting and talking to them quietly, letting them get used to her presence, and dying to pet them :) I think our little victories with the cat and kittens is the best thing that's happened to me today.
Earlier I would have said the best thing that happened to me was being interviewed by a South Korean crew taping a documentary on raw milk this morning. That was fun, cuz promoting real food as healing is a passion of mine.
My current business project is expanding my team across the US and Canada. I appreciate you asking. Would love to get to know you and see how we might bless each other.
And what are your current projects?
Blessings!
thanks for contributing to my discussions. You have some good advice. I was wondering if you can help me? Part of my job is putting together a book about parenting newborns. I am after parent stories to include in the book, as I find that parents are really interested in the experiences of other parents. A few other twittermoms have contributed and their stories will be published in the book - We use first name only (or made-up name if you wish). Stories we still need are:
What was your breast-feeding experience like? or Why did you decide/need to bottle feed.
How have you coped with your baby's crying?
What has been your experience with sleep (or lack of)?
Also, could I have permission to include your comments about "tummy Time' in the book - I would just have to change cot to "crib" as it is for the US market.
Let me know what you think.
If you want to check out our first book you can at www.thetriumphantchild.com
p.s. I am also interested in the fathers point of view in any of the above.
thanks
Mx
Best wishes.
