Because I love Halloween, as I’ve stated on several occasions already, I cannot stop myself from clicking from one adorable Halloween recipe idea to the other. Or, when I’m offline, all of those magazine covers jump at me from the racks. Read More

My kids are the same way, If the experimentation goes to far, I get the non-committal, "Mom, that's good". The definitely have their favorite home cooked recipes (especially the ones we make together). BUT, they also have a few pre-packaged favor...

A little about yourself...
There are two things I know are true:
1) Everyone needs to eat
2) There is never enough time to spend with your kids

To help address these issues in my life, I started having my kids cook dinner with me whenever possible, and guess what? We have a ton of fun, my kids love cooking, and it gives us that much more quality time to spend as a family. Plus, my kids can cook, a healthy skill they’ll carry with them through their entire lives.

My kids and I are have an online cooking show to demonstrate how we do it. Many of our recipes are basic, and we all do our own ‘age appropriate’ tasks, but we do it together, and you can too!

Kids Cooking and Food Network

On Saturday, November 7, Food Network had a cooking with kids day. I saw Paula Deen and the Barefoot Contessa. Paula was pretty good, Ina Garten, on the other hand was, let’s go with ‘interesting’. Now, I do like Ina Garten, she’s a great cook. I love when she has her parties and her recipes are delicious; BUT, arugula on pizza for kids? And, spicy olive oi… Continue

Super Delicious Sites

I’m always looking for recipes that would be feasible for the kids and I to cook together. I find tons of great recipes, but some of those I like are a bit complicated. To make the recipes two kids cooking friendly, I end up adapting various recipes to come up with something easy to cook with kids. But as I’m browsing the web for inspiration, I add many sites to my Google Reader list, so, during this season of thanks, I’m going to share some of them and offer them a great big ‘Thank You’ for ins… Continue

Recipe of the Week: Thanksgiving Turkey Meatballs

Everybody knows that Thanksgiving dinner means turkey. Since I don’t have the kids on Thanksgiving day every year, and since I don’t want them to get all turkey-ed out, when we make our day after Thanksgiving meal, it usually includes turkey meatballs.… Continue

2 Kids Cooking TV: Cream Cheese Pumpkin Pie

Welcome to our first Thanksgiving episode for 2009!

Because we like eating and hanging out together cooking, the Two Kids tribe truly enjoys Thanksgiving. It’s not just about the traditional delicious either, BUT, our Cream Cheese Pumpkin Pie is one traditional treat we never forget. Honestly, it’s mostly the crust; the gingersnap crumbs add just the… Continue

Do you have a Twitter account? What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and being a brand new mom. I am trying to find more people to follow me so that my story will help spread awareness:
