A little about yourself...

Formerly self-possessed, I'm a new wife and even newer mother, adjusting to life as third priority (or – if you count clients – fourth). I quit working for the man in December 2004 to become an independent PR consultant. It’s the one thing I know I'm good at and the one thing I'll never take for granted. I also recently launched DesMoinesFamilies.com for local parents. Between my husband, sons and work, there isn’t much time for well-formed or cohesive thoughts. Thus, this blog.
