I would join your group, but I live in Michigan. ha! I am in marketing now, but was a publicity director at a publisher for years prior. Truth be told, pr is still my first love. :-) Good for you to start your own business!

Thanks for responding to my post. I am looking for someone to do a post on 10/30. It can be a previously published post. You can email it to me at any time at bizymomof2girls AT gmail DOT com. Put a small bio in too so that I can add that. Thanks again!

Kelly, Welcome to Twittermoms! So glad you joined. It is a lot of fun around here!
Oh yes, I am very familiar with the look. And it is clear to me that they have never tried to truly work at home and take care of a child. It is impossible. I am in a playgroup and many of the mommies just don't understand when I tell them my son is in daycare.
Kelly -I know exactly what you mean. I am a WAHM too and I have my son in daycare. It is impossible to get anything done otherwise. Case in point - he is home sick today, I was up all night and haven't even showered. It is 3:12pm!

Formerly self-possessed, I'm a new wife and even newer mother, adjusting to life as third priority (or – if you count clients – fourth). I quit working for the man in December 2004 to become an independent PR consultant. It’s the one thing I know I'm good at and the one thing I'll never take for granted. I also recently launched DesMoinesFamilies.com for local parents. Between my husband, sons and work, there isn’t much time for well-formed or cohesive thoughts. Thus, this blog.
What kinds of things do you typically Twitter about?
Thoughts I wish other people could hear.
What are your areas of interest?
mommyhood, business, blogging, technology, social media, twitter
