They offer parent to parent matching. They will match you with another parent that has the same issues that you go through with your child. If you request that of course. It is helpful to talk with other parents and share tips on what works best with any given situation your little one is going through. They offer a lending library with books specified towards special needs in children. They have a monthly newsletter and update people on seminars and workshops. I recommend it highly.

He can be a handful, but he's wonderful. Have you heard of Family Support Network? They are a great group that helps kids with special needs. They are in Asheville.

A little about yourself...: My wife and I homeschool her 12yr-old brother. He has ADD so it can be a challenge. Fortunately, we also work at home. We're also teaching him Spanish.
