If you get your medical doctor to offer a primary diagnosis you should be able to get services started with the school now.

I knew my son was different. The doctors said I was an over protective first time mother. He turned out to be profoundly deaf. Follow your motherly instinks. Let me know how it goes. My son is in college now!!!

My son made it to college they said he would not graduate high school

I have fought his whole life, being profoundly deaf, ADHD and LD. Many wanted to write him off. I kept fighting with schools, doctors, and professionals. Now he is in college and I am still fighting. Have any of you experienced this? I would love to hear from you. Maybe we could help each other.
