As I said if a show is going to have a character with a disease process at least address it correctly. Despite the fact that she is struggling with being diagnosed with Diabetes it really does not reflect the real world. Just disappointing to see ...
Give them a chance. I don't think it is to educate us though. And they haven't talked about it a whole lot since she just found out and is struggling with coming to terms with it!
May not be watching this show much longer. The way Diabetes is being handled is all wrong. It is more than "passing out". Not a word about why she would "pass out' and that would be caused by hypoglycemia. I am sure the story line is not to teach ...

Reading a pattern isn't that difficult. I was terrified of it too, but there are a lot of good websites out there, and even books from your library that will help.
If you're like me one day it will just click with you and you'll be wondering how it ever took you that long :)
Though I can read a pattern I still like to go freestyle and organic much of the time.

Very cool, I'll have my daughter look at them and see what impression I get. I know one of her friends would love a pair, just not sure how many pairs I'd need. ;)
