I know the Nikon D80 is discontinued, but I really want to find one. I can't afford anything else plus I heard the D90 is not that good of a camera. Does any know where I can still get one?

I have the D80 and I'm unhappy with it. Are you a hobbyist? Wanting to go pro? I guess it's a good starting camera if you are planning on going pro which is the reason I purchased mine one year ago, I have totally outgrown it now and am ready to u...

I have an old film camera (cannon) which gets little to no use. I mainly use my compact digital camera mainly for snap shots. I'm not partial to cannon and would rather have a Nikon so starting from scratch is not a problem for me. I like your blo...
I have a D90. I love it, but then I never worked on a D80. What are you using now? If its a Nikon, great because all your lenses will transfer, if its not you might want to for the cost stick with what you are using now. I love the video feature, ...

Sorry, LaKietha, I don't have #'s for you, cuz my dh and dd bought the materials
for me for my BD, but dd said it wasn't that much.
First we got the book, The All New Square Foot Gardening, from the library, and loved
it so much we bought our own copy. Mel says that a couple of the ingredients for the
soil mix are the most expensive part, but that they never have to be replaced.
What will need replacing is the compost, which you can do yourself. Do you compost yet?
I have my first batch going now. Mel explains all that stuff. His book is a fun read :)
Wow, good thing a fruit head like you has such wonderful trees!
Aren't those sq ft gardens awesome??? That's what we're getting ready to start. Have all the ingredients, but don't have frames assembled yet. We don't have an ideal place for it so will
have to be really creative :)
Have you seen www.PathToFreedom.com and their Freedom Garden challenge? I think what that family is doing is SOOOO cool!
Oooh, fruit trees! What kind? I want a lemon tree.
My youngest and I are excited about The All New Square Foot Gardening book by Mel Bartholomew and have gathered stuff for it, not quite ready to start. Intrigued with the idea of high yield from small, weeding-free areas :) Would love your take on www.squarefootgardening.com
