Goodness. She jumped off the play structure & sprained her ankle. Again.
You know it's going to be a bad day when the school nurse calls & says "It's not urgent or critical"

You know, there should be some unwritten rules about sleepovers that last a really long time (3pm Saturday through 6pm Sunday) so that it's OK to do some separate time. Otherwise, there's this feeling of "we should be together, we should be having fun, but you're driving me insane."

I visited her at lunch yesterday to give her more Tylenol and ice down her ankle. It must have helped since she was able to play catch with a football. Ok, she wasn't diving for an end zone or doing a victory dance. It definitely cheered her up.
This morning, she said she didn't need any Tylenol, and then asked if I would bring it at lunch.

So, my 10 year old daughter was on Safety Patrol this morning...that's where they do traffic control during carpool....She at first said NO WAY to wanting to do that, and then something in her switched, and she loved the last time.

Well, this morning, she got there first, got on her vest, and got her STOP sign, and started skipping down to where she needed to be. Manda went down the hallway past the Kindergartens.
