- Hi! First and foremost, I’m a wife and mom of 2 amazing kids Courtney and Matthew. I come from "corporate America" where I worked in Human Resources for 16 years. I loved the work and the people but as I climbed that "ladder"....well let's just say, be careful what you wish for......
I did finally escape that Rat Race/Trap and am enjoying actually having a life now working exclusively from home...yay!!! :)
Even though I took that leap a little too late, the important thing is that I finally did and now have the best of both worlds! I Absolutely LOVE it! it's especially rewarding helping others find THEIR freedom too!!!

- Hi Laura! I saw your post on Divine Decorating Divas! LOL - I know about that corporate thing. I'm actually an attorney, but do not work in the law firm arena anymore. Home with two kids, like you. I actually started selling home decor as a hobby - to get me out of the house at night while doing legal stuff (and Mommy stuff) during the day. Now, it's more than just a hobby. I actually like making money from it. Yes, it's a direct sales/hosting parties thing: Southern Living at HOME. But, there's an online catalog now, so it's not necessary to actually "Hostess" a live party. An order can be set up online. I would welcome your viewing of my website to get your decorating juices flowing and maybe you'll see something you like. I would love your business - even if we're not living down the street from each other (I'm in Virginia!) If not, that's ok, too. At least we know we have interior design in common, among other fun things. I also welcome your friendship!
