Mabel talkin again...

Hello all. I found some really disturbing info this weekend about a poor 77 year old man with Alzheimer's disease who was killed in a nursing home in Chicago by a mentally ill patient who the nursing home had decided would be his roommate. The roommate was admitted to the nursing home because states now do not have facilities for mentally ill people and the nursing homes agree to accept these patients to mix with the elderly population to fill beds and bring in revenue. I am very sorry for the f… Continue

Here is a great article that better explains the idea behind gluten-free diets for kids with Autism. I do know that people with celiac disease also must have gluten free since they have an intestinal sensitivity to it. I've also heard that it helps many other illnesses as well. Hope this helps!

That's such a great idea. The Betty Crocker brownies are very good. I'm going to try the sugar cookies also and see how they taste. It's always great when the kids can have treats. It's great that so many companies are making good products for that. Please keep in touch and let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi there! I have had many parents say that their children had great results with the gluten-free diets. I myself have found many dessert mixes that are gluten free that are very good. Betty Crocker recently put out cake, cookie and brownie mixes that are gluten free. There is also a great company called Cherrybrook Kitchen that does gluten free as well as peanut, dairy and soy free desserts. I've also found a magazine that helps with Gluten-free diets called "Gluten Free Living". They are on Facebook if you want to check them out. Hope this helps!

Hi Lauren-
Nice to meet you =:) (virtually, LOL!) I run Buttercup Headbands and also work for my friend doing her marketing- she is a Doctor of Audiology and has her own practice. We deal with the elderly daily and really feel for them when their caregiver is short with them. I know the work that you do is truely a lifesaver.
Wishing you all the best!

Would love to be friends.

So, please do share your secret! You look fabulous for six kids.

Tonight's the last night for voting at http://www.TinyURL.com/GGstartup

I'm up to 1765 in votes and talk with the PR rep for StartupNation. Am hoping this little competition will really help boost my characters into the national spotlight.

Have a good night, friend.

Hi Lauren,
Thanks! Wow, I can't imagine six!! The three run me ragged. Baby girl will be home due to a fever today, so I am hoping to make use of a day at home with only one child to clean and get some things done. Crazy, isn't it?

Would love your support of Gemini Greetings at "Leading Moms In Business" contest on StartupNation.com.

On Wednesday, we should see if I make the first page of their website or not. I'm shooting for top ten businesses in the competition.

Thanks & would love to connect more often.
