Oh, the action around here!
Hmmm, I seem to be in the minority here, but I do find full-time SAHM life boring. Busy? Of course. But especially mentally, I do get bored. And even with a growing home business I feel like I'm boring to other people. I *can* talk about all kinds...

I use photoshop element mainly to retouch pictures and create some cute effects, sometimes I use the online piknik too, but I am in love with the free online Studio Software offered by Heritage Makers. It is so intuitive, you are not dealing with ...
I have tried so many software programs, that I cant remember, and I honestly think the very best I have found is Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus. I love this progam so much that it is the sole reason I decided to become a consultant.
I would love to go but am thinking it's probably not likely since I'm already going to both Quilt Markets this year (I did just Fall QM last year). I'd love to hit up Chicago, though. We went there on vacation two years ago and I totally fell in l...

- A little about yourself...
- I'm a mom of 3 boys who works from home as a virtual assistant. My boys are ages 7, 4 and 1. I love blog about being a work at home mom and about my boys of course! I'm planning to spend 2009 focusing on growing my virtual assistant business, and growing my mom blogger network. I'll be attending BlogHer 09 in Chicago this summer and hope to meet some of you there!

My work
I also Twitter @halosecretarial because I found my mom tweets and my business tweets were confusing me! And there are definitely people who follow me who want to keep it more business so it's easier to keep things somewhat separated!
I have a virtual assistant business, specializing in legal work. I worked as a legal assistant and paralegal for over 10 years before starting my VA business. I loved my work (most of the time, lol!) but wanted more flexibility in my days and more challenge in the actual work. Now I have the best of both worlds, at least most of the time. It's not always easy working at home, but I love it!

BlogHer/Chicago In Real Life in 2009
So I definitely want to try and attend BlogHer next summer in Chicago. Chicago is a city DH and I had wanted to visit anyway, so we're talking about making it a family trip, but we'll have to see, it's a long drive (26 hours approx) OR fairly expensive plane tickets, and then it would probably just be me going. DH and I have long-standing plans to take a big "alone" trip next fall to New York, for our 10 year anniversary, so that's the priority for travel. I really want to do both though!!

- Wow y'all ~what a sweet, wonderful, nice to log onto, pages of comments. Funny how each like different pictures. And the more people see my pictures, the more friend request I get {making my list longer), but no worries, as of right now I will keep it up b/c making people SMILE is my thing!!!

TODAY, this Monday when so many of us have kids outta school, or even more, home school, or have younger kids, the holidays are WONDERFUL, but can get stressful. Not getting in to all that just my intro to say today I am celebrating WOMEN, not MOM's, most of us are Moms (well not all, and not Chris, lol) but all of us except- Chris, lol, messing my little story up here Chris, still cool w/ me, ANYWHOOOO< we are all WOMAN first.

- Alright, need a theme for today and picked KIDS, what better for my Twitter Moms, gonna try to run through posting these this morning, I have so much to do, and my main goal for today is NOT to spend all day On computer, ha, never thought I would have to restrict myself, but it can get outta control, y'all know what I am talking about. hope these at least make you SMILE! - Hello friends, many of you are probably coming to expect my little picture of they day, hope y'all enjoy, I alway try if I have the time, as my friend list grows (plus my other 2 or so sites I post comments to my friends) it is becoming a little more time consuming. - Getting an early start b/c tomorrow is MONDAY< lol, and I usually do my pic's in the morning. Plus I am super proud that I got a custom order tongiht....for three to four necklaces, with a lot of creative control, if not all.
Other big new is that I have started two blogs, in the same day,lol, I do things in twos~ have twins. I would be honored if y'all my friends on TM to read them and let me know what you think, feel free to follow or subscribe or whatever they call it. This is all part of my little goals to bigger goals system,ha. Thanks ladies & {and Chris, lol}
