That is so cool how the Haute Note cards are eco-friendly, using wind power and vegetable-based inks! And I think we can all relate to the work-life-balance craziness. Very nice to learn about you and your business, Geraldine. ;o)

TwitterMom of the Month: Meet Amanda Quraishi!

You have a few blessed minutes to yourself -- now what? Hmm... organize the closets, or catch up on your social media, then a little online shopping? (Well, that's an easy one.) Research shows that connecting with others -- and new shoes, I would argue -- are good for our brains and our heal… Continue

If you're reading this, we know you can successfully navigate to the coolest mom-sites online. :) You've probably sent and received your share of Evites, you now use "friend" as a verb -- and I'm betting the vast majority of you would feel a wee bit panicky if your smart phone got flushed down the toilet (not naming any… Continue

TwitterMom of the Week: Meet Lenore Moritz!

We moms love to bond over how motherhood has irrevocably changed our lives -- mostly for the better, of course, but with some notable exceptions involving high quality sleep, a narrow waistline and the ability to accept spontaneous social invitations.

If you're a mom who also misses her art and culture (and you're just… Continue

Lea, isn't it funny how different worlds can collide? Somehow I found twittermoms when it was a newborn and jumped right on board.

I'd love to be featured as Twittermom of the Month, although in full disclosure, I need to report that I was a Twittermom of the Week early on. If that takes me out of the running, I'll understand. :-)

Lea,
I would absolutely love that! I guess you probably noticed I am not only new to here, but new to blogging. It is so wonderful to hear nice things about my blog. I work hard on it. I am trying really hard to gain exposure, so that would be AMAZING. What does being the mom of the month require of me? Thanks so much for noticing my blog!
Jessica,
P.S. We named Ruby after her great grandma. I just loved the name. And my hubby was very close to his grandma. Her middle name is Gillian after my grandmother ( hard G sound) . I just love family names.
P.P.S.What does DM mean?
