A little about yourself...

I'm a 30-something mom and a veteran journalist who recently made the choice to get out of the full-time news business. My current business card includes important words like '"energy" and "vice president," and I spend my days buried in contracts and spreadsheets. But my passion remains writing and blogging, and I do freelance family travel writing as much as time will allow. I live in the shadow of the Mouse near Orlando, Fla., and my family spends a lot of time in and around Walt Disney World, Universal and Sea World.
