At our Library I started some knitting classes for children and started a Knitting Club called Yarn Busters. I teach knitting and my assistant teaches crochet. It has been very successful. There are a few blog entries about Yarn Busters on my blog...

My girls (9 and 11) are knitters. They made scarves first and moved onto bigger projects - blankets and fleted purses. They LOVE knitting.

Krisann Blair said… - Yes it was wonderful -that was our first long cruise and we did get spoiled - we have also done an eastern and western and are scheduled for the EB TA in 2010 and I am so excited. If you can ever do a longer cruise you will love it! The Panama Canal was an amazing experience.
