Lisa Maria Carroll, a single mom with a vast amount of life experience: early motherhood, marriage, divorce, and mentoring youth and women. She has gone from being a three-time teenage mom to a six-figure mompreneur. She is a motivational speaker, author, and woman of courage destiny and purpose, who encourages women to reclaim their purpose and walk in their destiny.
Montina Young Fortune, the transparent parent, the single mom of 2 daughters' 1 son, the mom that started with a GED and earned her Master's in 2007, the mom that went from homeless to building a home, from a physically abusive ex to loving herself, to raising a tween/teen, founder of the non-profit Single Parent Assistance, Resources & Knowledge, Inc. and an Overcomer, Encourager and Champion of Hope.
What's an expert? I read somewhere, that the more a man knows, the more he knows, he doesn't know. So I suppose one definition of an expert would be someone who doesn't admit out loud that he knows enough about a subject to know he doesn't really know how much. -Malcolm Forbes

Can a Single Mom be Used by God?
I always knew God had a purpose for my life, but when I got pregnant out-of-wedlock with my first child, I thought I'd negated His ability to use me. I'm writing to introduce you to a new website I launched for Charlotte parents last month. Charlotte TRACKS, located online at www.charlottetracks.com, is an acronym for "Tools, Resources and Activities for Carolina Kids." As a local mom of three and a former magazine editor, I've come across lots of great resources for kids in the Charlotte region, so I decided to put them all on ONE website for local families to use. Charlotte TRACKS is also a social networking site for parents, so those who join can post blogs, forums, calendar events and other information for other parents to see. I started Triangle TRACKS at www.triangletracks.com for parents in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region a year ago, and it's doing very well out there, so I decided I would start one for Charlotte as well.
I wanted to reach out to you to find out if you could let our Charlotte friends know about this site via email, Twitter or other Charlotte social networking sites you belong to. And if you get a chance, let me know what you think of Charlotte TRACKS.
