Hey. Hope you are enjoying your time at Twittermoms. If you haven't already joined the Mommy Bloggers Group, stop by and check us out. :)
See you around Twitter. :)
I didn't have any of the bonding problems that were talked about in sessions with our agency and with our social worker. We adopted from Bulgaria and you have to make the first trip to meet the child, spend time with him/her and accept the child. The paperwork is finished up with the court system and then you make a second trip to pick up your child. When they brought Maddie in the room, she jumped right in my arms (like let's go - I've been waiting for you) and that was that. We haven't any of the bonding issues at all. Sorry, guess I'm not really one to give out that kind of advice.
I'm sorry to hear about your in-laws. Yes, we have quite the stretch in ages. The oldest 3 children are bio and they were 3 kids in 4 years - yikes! After going through infertility treatments (the first 3 I had no problem conceiving, but then...), we decided instead to turn to adoption. Maddie was 3 years old when we brought her home and she is one of my inspirations!
Welcome to Twittermoms. I love your little girls' name - at first reading your profile name, I thought you liked to "live on the wild side", but I loved reading your blog. It's hard to let them grow up, I know from experience, my oldest is now 23 years old and my youngest is 11 years old.
Welcome to twittermoms! I love your blog - the format is great!
We've got a great bunch of women here and are so glad you've joined us. I see you've already joined one of our many Twittermoms Groups. They are the core of the experience here, so please don't hesitate to explore them further. I'm sure you'll find a lot of information and inspiration through them.

I started this blog right after my little girl Danger was born. Yes, that is her name and even though her father's parents aren't too keen on the whole thing I think it suits her quiet well.
I want to be able to tell her about every little detail of her childhood when she grows up and what better way to achieve that than a blog. So you will find me at www.lovingdanger.com most days writing letters to my little girl!
You want to know about me Danger?
I'm 23 and have been married to the love of my life since I was 19, yep 4 years and counting. Your Dad and I actually took you with us out for our anniversary this year as you were only a mere 5 days old. I like older men. Your Dad is almost 7 years older than me.
I love orange juice and lemonade and lets not forget chocolate milk. I'm a sucker for animals, especially your trusty side kick Stella. I love converse shoes, emo music and a great hoody. I had an interesting childhood and thus don't speak to any of my family except for my two younger brothers, your uncles Corey and Reese and their mother who is no longer married to my father. The whole thing is pretty confusing so I'll explain when your older.
Because I don't really have any family of my own I really value the friendships that your Pops and I have built. You'll notice you have a lot of Aunts and Uncles!
I'm lanky, have big hands, abandonment issues and am all around awkward. We currently live in a small town outside of Calgary, AB where you will grow up but both your Dad and I are from Ontario. In the last 4 years we have lived where we are now as well as Calgary, Vancouver and Oshawa. We will NEVER move back to Ontario. EVER
I eat copious amounts of beef as I believe that along with sweet potatoes(not yams, but sweet potatoes) and grilled zucchini it is the best food on the face of the planet. I love being a stay at home mom and am thrilled that I don't have to go back to my previous life as a restaurant manager, which I fucking hated! Oh and I curse like a sailor. Your dad doesn't mind, his parents do. I don't posses the ability to whisper, and I'm not good at whistling either. I can't spell and my grammar is atrocious, sometimes your Dad logs in and fixes my errors. I hate that he even reads this and won't let him when I'm around so he reads it at work. I read absolutely no books but I do read about 15 different blogs regularly. Your Dad makes fun of me and refers to them as "my friends" I get embarrassed.
I will probably edit this information 15 to 20 times over then next week as I am freaking loser like that! You've inherited my big hands, hopefully you won't catch my loser as well!
