This group is a one-stop-place to have our links, promotions, recruit ads, etc. So we can network and brainstorm for fresh new ideas with other direct selling moms and also offer our companies to other moms that want to do what we do! Welcome!!!
For moms who really get involved at home, in school and their community. If you coach, volunteer, advocate, PTA, navigate. We need you here! For proactive leaders who instigate change from within by lending a positive hand.
I was very frustrated. My 1 year anniversary arrived and I felt that I had not reached the goals I had originally set for my business. I re-evaluated why I'm doing this and went back through all my party list, sent personal emails, made some calls. Booked a few more parties. Began the Action Course again. With all this, I feel the only reason I didn't reach my want, is because I didn't put enough time into my relationships with my clients.
I began this with a friend and we partnered for each party, split them down the middle. It was fun, but not what I wanted $$$ wise. I do parties alone now, it works better. My relationships with my clients are professional. Not personal. Working with my friend our "show" became too personal. She and I are in different places in our lives and our relationships at home. I love her and support her but it was bad business.
The Action Course has been wonderful. My team leaders have great ideas and inspire me with new things on every call.
I love to hear what those consultants making $5000-$7000 in personal sales are doing and learning their personalities has shown me this is not a business you sit and wait for. You have to be aggressive. I'm not an aggressive person, actually I find people who keep approaching me to be too much. I have to take the aggressive gentle approach in order for this to work for me. Friendly reminders, gifts, just checking on you type approaches. It works.
SO I'm back, parties are rolling in, sales are picking up. I p[lanned to attend convention but I can't pull that off this year. Too much going on at home with kids and hubby in a new job.
I hope you don't quit before payday.
I thought about those words long and hard. I see what others are doingin this business and you know what...they are no different than you and I. They started to make $$$. They started with the same kit and training. I keep educating myself. Listening and applying what I learn is the best tool I have found. No need to recreate the wheel. Right!
