- My husband & I recently moved to the country, after our two grown children packed up and moved on! We've been married for 29 years, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Even though we're empty-nesters, the job of parenting never really ends, does it? We're still there to listen, advise, encourage, and support our two daughters!
I'm currently on a 6-mth hiatus from Ideal-Way.ca, a non-profit organization for special needs individuals (Down syndrome, autism, etc.). I plan to work on a book that, so far, has been gathering dust on a shelf...

A Simple Act of Love
Last night I sat on my deck and watched the sky play a game of cat and mouse with me. I wanted to be in a comfortable state of mind, so I had taken some pillows from our living room and heaped them in a corner of our deck.
