Thanks! Hoping it will be a nice way for people to help others without much extra expense on already tight budgets!

I'm SO glad you find the www.PathToFreedom.com site inspiring, too!
Did you watch the video where it ends with his trowel in a victory punch
in the air? Talk about inspiring!!!

Wow, super warm sounds good just now, ha :)

My DD believes we can make a go of the Sq Ft Gardening even without a lot
of sun. Her enthusiasm is contagious.

Blessings!

Oh THANK YOU, Meg, for that site. I read the book and knew there was a website, too, but had forgotten to look. PERFECT for me today, cuz it's my BD and found that my husband (who is not into this!) has gotten me some stuff for getting started with Sq Ft Gardening :)

We have very little space. It's a 4 plex that we own and the sun is blocked for at least 1/2 the day in most of the areas. I have picked out a couple of spots that would get sun most of the afternoon, now need to research what plants need how much sun. See? I want more gardening area!

Did you look at the www.pathtofreedom.com yet? It's quite eye-pleasing, and not a single plant on the property that is not food-bearing. Yay!

BLessings...

That sounds quite practical, Meg! Oh, I do want enough outside area for garden and chickens.

When I walk thru the neighborhood I see all this wasted ornamental gardening and would love
to see LOTS of folk switching to urban homesteading, like the pathtofreedom.com family in Pasadena!

Blessings!

Thank you, Meg! I will definitely look up that urban chickens site. Our yard is so
not adequate, but I'm trying to figure out a way to make it work anyway...

Did I already ask if you're familiar with the concept of Andy Lee's Chicken Tractor?
A fun read and seems SO practical and brilliant to me.

Blessings...

Love your blog, Meg. And I want a couple of chickens, too. Hope to in the near future :)

Blessings!
