Hey there.
No problem at all, I am so behind on reading everything with the Holidays, LOL

I am someone that is completely open to everyone's opinions, I am about to go read now...teehee... but I definitely don't think anything.

I agree too, they didn't know me and this Internet thing is so scary. Afterwards I was thinking, if anything ever happens again I will most definitely just say, please have your parents call me, here is my number...
(Even as parents we learn, LOL)

Thanks for the email. :)

I saw your comment about the size of the blog widget. Go here and copy this code for a narrower, side-bar friendly version: http://textsnip.com/94343e/css. Good luck!

Your wedding story is touching, too. And the part about the ring ... that's funny. I bet he was sooooo worried about you finding out too early. ;) Can you believe how fast the 20 yrs goes? We will celebrate our 20th on 1/28/08. I'm ready to start slowing the clock as the kids could start leaving in 4 short yrs. Sniff, sniff.

Hi Meglyn. Yes, Salzburg is a beautiful place. You've been? I see you like travel. That year (20+ yrs ago), we did the 2 week backpack trip thru Germany, Austria, Switzerland. Amazing experience!

K, just went and read your post and you have more rules than we do, so you are safe right? lol

You do not look old enough to have all those old kids. HOT MOMMY! Your daughter is gorgeous. I'm lucky to have a couple of other mom's in my daughters friends circle that are similiar in thinking. They are good girls and my communication with other parents I believe will be key to it.

Happy to meet you!

Well now I'm off to check out your post. Um, I'm too old to ruffle feathers? No, only 35, hmm, I don't care if I ruffle feathers cause it's my child and she is incredible? Yep, that's the reason. I've raised my daughter to be an incredible human being so I don't question most of my actions. :)

It works for us and that is all that matters, REMEMBER that always!

I was just being silly. I do agree that raising, and surviving said raising, of 4 teenagers
leaves one with a lot of parenting experience.

Certainly wish I'd not had to learn so much the hard way. Have been to hell and back
a few times. Tough as that was, I am honestly grateful for all that I've gained through
my experiences.
Especially grateful that I learned to listen without judging or manipulating (better late
than never, right?) and that there has been so much healing and that I now enjoy a
wonderful relationship with each of my five.

AND especially grateful for the opportunity to use what I learned from the first round of
teens on my youngest. She is grateful, too!

Blessings...

40ish blogger, married with three teenagers. My sons are 18 and 16; my daughter is 13. Plus a 120lb lab named TANK - look out Marley, Tank is in the house!

Love networking, connecting and I am a grade A Business Junkie.

Work out of the house for a Wealth Management Firm, where basically I'm with the executive team and work in project management there too. (I say “too,” because isn't that what all moms do- manage projects?)

I've blogged my top 13 ideas, but I'm always looking for new ideas... always looking for a way to connect without "crowding" my three teens. First one is going off to college in January (after a semester of local school and commuting from home). It's freaking me out I, I admit, it's the beginning of the "end!" The end of him living here, of this being HIS home, the end of seeing him every day… Continue
